Highly recommend this place! ANIMAL WORKS have shown to be compassionate for our pet, explains things in advance, no hidden fees, & they cared about our experience with them. I drove 45 minutes from Longmont to Ft Collins & would do it again for their services! We’ve, unfortunately, been through too many vets over the years because of hidden fees, poor communication, or sincere lack of love for the animal. Best vet experience we’ve ever experienced!! Pic is our beloved senior Basset, KC, who just had major dental surgery. She’s so happy now… as we are too!

Everyone we encountered was extremely helpful, patient, and understanding in a time of extreme stress. Our 9 year old domestic short hair suffered a front leg break that was beyond repair. They were able to amputate immediately and made us feel very comfortable and explained everything about what was to be done, kept us up to date with the surgical procedure, recovery & follow up home calls.

These wonderful people save our older dog’s life, and they were affordable. They went way above and beyond for her and we are forever thankful. Won’t be going anywhere else for our other animals.
This place is what veterinary care dreams are made of. Affordable, reliable, and extremely caring. Literally such a wonderful team of professional, knowledgeable people who have you and your pet’s best interest at heart.
I can’t say enough good things about these guys as Veterinarians, Managers, Techs, and people in general. DR. Kraft is amazing. Very thorough and great at breaking things down so you can understand them; he’s also very patient, which matters so much in this field. Dr. Erickson is very straightforward. She gives you realistic expectations for your pet’s care and is on top of absolutely everything from start to finish. Donnen is a great tech. Very knowledgeable and always willing to pass that knowledge on. The manager Jerri is such a wonderful, delightful woman. Very welcoming and great at putting nervous, worried hearts at ease.
You cannot go wrong bringing your babies here.
The surgery and dental work done on my Dachshund was professional and efficient. My questions were answered, and follow-up after surgery was clear and concise. The cost was what I expected.
I can’t say enough good things about these folks. Dr. Erickson is awesome and the approach she took with me and my dog in dealing with the emergency surgery she needed was handled with such care, respect and realism. She is a very gifted vet that knows her stuff and she saved my dog’s life! And let’s not forget the village (staff). Not only did they make sure Henry (my sweet Heeler) was comfortable and well taken care of, they also took care of me when I was falling apart with emotions. They went beyond the call of duty in so many ways, even the small little things they did were noticed and very appreciated. I also like to commend them on their prices, they are very reasonable. (Check out their well laid out web site and see for yourself). Money is a hard thing to talk about when your pet is potentially dying but they handle it with such care. What they quoted me for Henry’s surgery is what they charge me, no hidden surprises . Thanks again to you all, I appreciated each one of you at Animal Works that helped me navigate through a stressful heart wrenching time. I appreciate the compassion you all showed me and my sweet girl and the wonderful care you gave her. By the way, Henry is doing great and is back to her happy, butt wagging, active, loving self and says thank you!
Definitely recommended, especially if your dog has high anxiety like mine. Staff is wonderful. They were great with my 90 lb hound dog, even when he re-opened the sutures on his paw, they were awesome, really helped me out and got him in again right away – No judgement either. Thank You!
I’m so incredibly grateful to Animal Works! My dog needed surgery ASAP, our vet couldn’t get him in for another month, but thankfully they referred me to Animal Works. Ari, who works at the front desk, was so helpful, I got in for a consultation that day. The doctor explained my dog’s situation so well, and he was in surgery the next day. It was the best experience with a canine surgery I’ve ever had. Any future surgery’s our pups need – big or small – we will 100% be going to Animal Works! Beautiful clinic, nice & caring staff, AFFORDABLE and flexible.
This place is amazing. Everyone there truly is a blessing. Kind and thoughtful staff all the way around. In such frightening and tragic situations, they shine! Beautiful facilities and wonderful communication. I recommend 110%! No better place to bring your babies.
Great clinic! Super friendly staff that offered the utmost professionalism. I had shopped around for the surgery my puppy needed and was pleasantly surprised at how they were able to facilitate such an affordable price. Jerri, Dr. Erickson, and Dr. Kraft explained the whole process to me and were very thoughtful and considerate of my puppy’s situation. I was excited about how clean they kept the clinic. The entire place has a great feel to it, the artwork was very nicely hung, and the mural painting in the waiting room is extraordinary. I would totally recommend them to anyone that needs veterinarian surgery.
