Surgery Pricing

Please note: We generally book surgical appointments with referrals from your primary veterinarian, but if this is urgent and your pet needs emergency surgery, please call our office.

The fees listed for surgery do NOT include the required pre-surgical consult, bloodwork, initial x-rays (if needed), e-collar or post-op medications. Some surgeries may require a specific quote beyond listed depending on complexity level.

Soft Tissue Surgery

Anal Sac Removal or Anal Sacculectomy

Note: Please be prepared to pay additional emergency fees on top of the listed surgery price. Each case is different and dependent on what your pet may need, taking into consideration what has already been done at the referring clinic. This may include, but is not limited to, an emergency exam, bloodwork, x-rays (or repetition of), multiple days of hospitalization for monitoring and supportive care.

Blocked Cat/Urethral Obstruction
$2600 (includes anesthesia, urinalysis, urinary and IV catheter) 

A blocked cat describes a feline that cannot pass urine due to an obstruction in the urethra, it is one of the true emergencies affecting cats and can quickly become life-threatening. If your cat is having difficulty urinating do not delay, please call our office now at 970-694-2625. If it is after hours, you must take your cat to an emergency clinic.

Please call us first, we may not be able to accommodate due to the amount of staffing and resources this surgery requires.  We only accept emergency C-sections, spaying is required for us to perform this surgery.

Pre-Surgical exams are not included or required for routine spay and neuters. If your pet has an increased risk for surgery (such as being an older pet or having existing health problems) we will require a pre-surgical examination.

Please ensure your pet does not have any of the following symptoms prior to setting an appointment for a spay or neuter: No vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, sneezing, lethargy, loss of appetite, or anything that appears as odd or not normal behavior for your pet.
